The River Lodge is located directly by the River Aare and is the perfect starting point for excursions in and around Interlaken. You can reach Interlaken-Ost railway station in just 7 minutes by foot and the boat and bus stations are right opposite. The River Lodge was renovated in 2018 and enchants with its modern, cosy country house style. There are 18 four-bed rooms in the River Lodge, which are furnished with bunk beds and/or double beds. There is also a cosy lounge and a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. The large terrace with a view of the mountains invites you to linger.

Another highlight is that city and mountain bikes, e-bikes, canoes and kayaks can be hired at the River Lodge.

Praktisch, dass nur besenrein gereinigt werde muss. Unkomplizierte Geschäftsführung. Küche allerdings mässig geeinigt für grosse Gruppen (teilweise passen Kochtöpfe nicht auf Induktion etc…). Und für eine dynamische Klasse, sprich aktive Freizeitaktivität mässig bis nicht geeignet, da noch andere Gäste auf dem Gelände. Es hat zwar niemand reklamiert, doch das Gelände bietet je nach Belegung wenig Fläche. Als reiner „Schlafort“ und ruhige Aktivitäten gut geeignet.

wunderschön & zentral gelegen, nicht ideal für eine Schulklasse, die überwacht werden muss: Zimmer führen direkt ins Freie, Bretterverschläge vor den Zimmern machen nachts extrem Lärm, ein Schönwetterhaus, da vieles draussen, vor den Zimmern abgeht, gegessen mit einer grossen Gruppe wird draussen, im überdachten Zelt

Es sind kleine aber praktische Zimmer mit vier Betten. Tolle Anlage uns es reicht vollkommen aus. :) Sehr ringhörig, war aber zur Nachtruhezeit auch ruhig.

Nice accommodation next to the train station. Veery helpful staff, plenty of amenities, clean and can highly recommend for groups of young people.
