The Rifugio Alpe San Romerio is located at 1,795 metres above sea level in Val Poschiavo and has been family-owned since 1829. The Rifugio Alpe San Romerio has 35 beds and is an ideal starting point for hikes or bike tours. Or simply to enjoy the peace and quiet. With its outdoor yoga platform, the Rifugio is also a very popular place for yoga retreats. On the sunny hillside terrace or in the cosy dining room, you will be spoilt daily with hearty regional specialities from the Poschiavo region. To reach this wonderful place of power, you can travel by public transport or by car to Viano or Piaz (free car park) and then walk up to the Rifugio in around 25 minutes.

by bus to Viano (Post bus from Brusio to Viano. Please always book at least one hour before the journey.
From Viano it is a 2-hour hike to San Romerio.

Alternatively (for a surcharge of CHF 10.00), the post bus also runs from Viano to the Piaz car park, from where you hike for approx. 25 minutes to Alpe San Romerio.)

Not accessible by car - 20 parking spaces (By car, you can drive to the free Piaz car park - from there you hike along a wide path for about 25 minutes to the alpe.)
